FantasyPros
While Hurts was a solid addition to fantasy rosters off of the waiver wire last year due to his rushing ability, he didn't necessarily shine as a passer. With just a 52% completion rate and a 6:4 TD to INT ratio, Hurts is going to have to be sensational as a mobile QB this season to justify the hype that he's getting. While he has the talent to be very good on the ground and pick up rushing yards, NFL defenses are now going to be able to game plan for Hurts' skillset with an entire off-season to study tape. If defenses can work to limit his mobility and force him to beat them from the pocket, we could see his fantasy output take a hit. As a streaming QB, Hurts is worth taking the shot on to see if he can overcome these potential obstacles. However, there's the potential that we see his ADP get to the point where he's being drafted as a top-8 QB and that's just simply too much risk.Did you know that Tannehill had seven rushing touchdowns last season? With Tannehill's incredible efficiency - due in large part to AJ Brown - plus his rushing potential, he comes with a very safe floor every single week. The passing volume - or lack thereof - holds him back from being a true top-5 option at the QB position for fantasy football, but it's hard to find a more consistent option week after week. Heading into 2021, Tannehill lost Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith, but he replaced them with Julio. Arthur Smith has also left Tennessee as the OC to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, which does leave some concern for how this offense will look under Todd Downing. Any argument that is brought up against Tannehill though is nitpicking. He's an extremely safe option and he does come with some weekly upside due to that rushing potential around the goal line. He can be viewed as a low-end QB1 this season.

FantasyPros
We saw a glimpse of what Hurts can bring to the table last year, though it was just a four-game sample size. He started four games for the Eagles, and each of those games netted at least 16.3 fantasy points, highlighting a floor that's hard to find. He also flashed upside with a 37.8-point outburst in Week 15 against the Cardinals. The downside is that it was a small sample size, and Hurts appeared to get worse every time out. Even then, it's still a small sample size. There's a new coaching staff, along with a new No. 1 receiver, but if what we saw from Hurts in 2020 was his floor, we're in for a treat in 2021. If he can hone in and improve his accuracy numbers from 2020, there's legitimate top-six quarterback upside.Tannehill has been disrespected by the fantasy community long before Julio Jones was traded there. Tannehill became the starter of the Titans in Week 7 of 2019. Since that time, he's tallied 575.3 fantasy points, which ranks third among quarterbacks, behind only Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. That's right... despite ranking 16th in pass attempts during that time (26-game sample size), he's finished with more fantasy points than Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, and Deshaun Watson.

The Draft Zone
It will be hard for Jalen Hurts to finish outside the top-eight fantasy QBs in 2021 even if he doesn't improve as a passer. Projected rushing over 17 games: 64 scrambles for 466 yds, 67 designed rush attempts for 335 yds, 5 TDs. That's 110 points before throwing a pass. @dwainmcfarland

The True Value King! Tanny has been THE most efficient QB in the game over the last several seasons according to BrotoFantasy.com and the Fantasy Football By BRoto App exclusive stat, True Throw Value, which measures QB efficiency. Now he has Julio by his side as well? Sign me up!

Sleepers and Busts
Hurts was a surprise pick by the Eagles in 2020 draft. Maybe they knew something the rest of us didn't? One thing we do know is Hurts isn't the most accurate passer. Also, the word on the street is the Eagles are trying hard to trade for DeShaun Watson. That's the main concern I have with Jalen. If they trade for Watson, Hurts probably gets moved in the deal and has to learn a new playbook in the summer or midseason which is even worse. Drafting Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith will help the offense big time. He'll add some sizzle to the Philly cheesesteak. What saves Jalen is his rushing yards. He could be up there with Lamar Jackson's rushing totals if he keeps running at that clip. That would make Hurts a sneaky good pick on draft day, if the Eagles keep him. That's a big if though. Hmnn..I might have to lower him some because the risk is higher than I'd like. The addition of Julio Jones makes this offense very interesting. The big question, will Titans head coach, Mike Vrabel, allow New offensive coordinator, Todd Downing, to air it out more often? He should, otherwise why did they trade for Julio in the first place? If he does, Tannehill could have a career year.
Joe Pisapia
FantasyPros
I am a fan of Jalen Hurts, the quarterback. He bet on himself in college and won, then showed he could play at the NFL level in 2020. I am not, however, completely sold on Jalen Hurts, the fantasy quarterback, quite yet. His 38-point performance against the Cardinals rightfully excited a lot of fantasy analysts. But there were some less than stellar moments as well that folks are forgetting. His rushing upside is incredibly intriguing, but he still has a long way to go as a passer. People are also ignoring the Eagles offensive line that did not get markedly better year over year. Plus, it's a new HC, and that means a new playbook to learn and execute. I am not saying Hurts can't take his new toy DeVonta Smith and have himself a QB1 season. I am saying the risk of him finishing outside of the QB1 range is equally possible. Therefore, drafting ahead of proven entities like Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, etc., is unnecessary in a single QB format. In a Superflex league, the gamble becomes intriguing because you can easily team him up with one of those steadier veterans and enjoy the high ceiling games without the low floor contests costing you weeks. In dynasty leagues, Hurts needs to show himself to be the QB of the future for the Eagles, or Nick Sirianni may get to choose his guy in the 2022 draft.2020 was a roller coaster for the Titans and QB Ryan Tannehill. The fact he finished as a QB1 (8) times and a QB2 (8) times says it all. He finished with 3.8K yards, 33 passing TDs, and seven rushing TDs. Ideally, you want Tannehill as your second QB in a Superflex format. That bonus upside he brings some weeks can be huge. However, as your starting quarterback in a single QB format, the inconsistencies could hurt you some weeks. The Titans lost Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith to free agency, but added Julio Jones in June to create one of the more formidable WR corps in the NFL. Tannehill has established himself as a fantasy-worthy QB, it's just that no one seems to give him his due. The Jones addition will raise that profile, but overpaying for Tannehill isn't advisable either. He's a lower end QB1, but still underappreciated.
Tim Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
If the Texans didn't exist, the Eagles would be the model for franchise disfunction the past couple of seasons. The winner in the chaos is Jalen Hurts, who finds himself as the QB after taking over for the recently traded Carson Wentz in the last quarter of the season. Hurts will no doubt be asked to use his legs, which alone usually means at least moderate fantasy success, but how much can we trust his arm? Its hard to judge a guy in his rookie year called on to right a sinking ship, but either way, his 52% completion percentage leaves a whole lot to be desired. Add that to the unknown of new HC Nick Sirianni and offensive coordinator Shane Steichen, and Hurts' arm is a major wild card. His opportunities on the ground should give him a nice floor this season. The True Throw Value (a BRoto Fantasy Exclusive Stat that measures a QB's fantasy efficiency through the air) king was wildly efficient yet again last season, finishing third overall for his second top-3 and third top-6 finish in as many years. This year he will add the aging Julio Jones to the mix and look to take the offense to the next level after OC Arthur Smith went to the Falcons. The first play-action bomb Julio Jones catches will be a thing of beauty. He is going to be slept on yet again, don't miss out for a third straight year.
John Hesterman
Dynasty League Football
We cannot pretend that the addition of Julio Jones is not straight positive for Tannehill's seasonal outlook. He should be locked and loaded as a top-12 option at the position and is a safe pick for a team's QB1 in all formats.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Hurts showed flashed of brilliance in his rookie year and has a lot of upside in his second year with Carson Wentz now in Indianapolis. The Eagles signing Joe Flacco should ensure Hurts is the unquestioned starter in 2021. He is a low-end QB1 with upside as a duel threat quarterback.Tannehill was fantastic in 2020 with 350.36 fantasy points in 16 games or 21.90 fantasy points per game. He should be in the QB1 discussion in 2021, especially with that acquisition of Julio Jones.
