While Prosise may not be as proven as a Darren Sproles or Duke Johnson, it seems as though he is going to get the same kind of attention as those great third-down backs this season. With that being said, until we see it, it is difficult to draft someone on speculation that he might be a flex worthy play some weeks. With the news of Dixon being out for the year, West skyrockets up draft boards. There is always the chance that the Ravens would be unsatisfied with West as a starter and go acquire a better back, but until then, West must be drafted in the top 40 based on expected touches alone.

West has surging value with Kenneth Dixon ruled out for the year.

Prosise struggled to get on the field in 2016, this season, if healthy, he can catch 50-plus passes. Auction Value $8 West impressed at times last season, but he is not much more than a journeyman running back. With Kenneth Dixon ruled out for the season, West value has skyrocketed.

Prosise has a ton of talent, but we just aren't sure how or how much he'll be used with Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls in the mix. I do expect Prosise to be the third-down back and to have value in PPR as long as he can stay healthy.West will likely be the early down back while Kenneth Dixon is suspended the first month of the season.

FantasyPros
We were only able to see 47 touches for the rookie in 2016, but they were extremely impressive, netting 380 total yards and a touchdown. The concern is that the Seahawks brought in Eddie Lacy, as they were clearly unhappy with the health of their running backs last year. With the versatility that Prosise offers, it shouldn't shock anyone if he gets 10-12 touches out of the gate. If he can stay healthy, Pete Carroll will find ways to utilize him in the passing game. At the very least, you should get four usable performances out of West while Kenneth Dixon is serving his suspension. Fresh to start the season, West averaged 4.70 yards per carry with three touchdowns in the first six games, but struggled down the stretch, averaging just 3.43 yards per carry once Dixon joined the backfield. He also scored just two rushing touchdowns over the final 10 games with Dixon, making him unplayable. At least he's a very cheap guy to target with Dixon, as you're guaranteed the starting running back for the Ravens with just your 8th and 10th round picks.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
I think he takes over this backfield, but I'm only going to rank him as high as I need to, I get the feeling people are sleeping on him. Lacy and Rawls will split the running, Prosise should be PPR gold.
