We don't know how long he'll hold onto the job, seeing as he has averaged just 3.8 yards per carry since coming to the Colts. He's also scored just 10 touchdowns on the ground, leading them to use Robert Turbin in goal-line situations last year. They also drafted Marlon Mack, who could supplant Gore at any time.At the very least, you should get four usable performances out of West while Kenneth Dixon is serving his suspension. Fresh to start the season, West averaged 4.70 yards per carry with three touchdowns in the first six games, but struggled down the stretch, averaging just 3.43 yards per carry once Dixon joined the backfield. He also scored just two rushing touchdowns over the final 10 games with Dixon, making him unplayable. At least he's a very cheap guy to target with Dixon, as you're guaranteed the starting running back for the Ravens with just your 8th and 10th round picks.

Gore keeps it done despite his age and lack of consistent role in the offense. Auction Value $12 West impressed at times last season but he is not much more than a journeyman running back. Auction Value $1

Gore is older than dirt, but still somehow keeps truckin'. The Colts did draft Marlon Mack, who doesn't have Gore's consistency, but has a lot more big-play ability. They will likely split work at some point this season, hurting what upside Gore had.West will likely be the early down back while Kenneth Dixon is suspended the first month of the season.

Gore seems to be too old every season and all he did is tally 1,025 yards rushing, 277 yards receiving and eight touchdowns in 2016. I would not take him in the third or fourth round, because of age concerns, but he has defied the odds and remained a stellar back for over a decade.
