FantasyPros
September's toast of the town (PPR RB10 through Week 3) failed to sustain a sizzling start, but only 10 RBs recorded more receptions than Cohen's 53. There's room for growth in his sophomore seasons with Matt Nagy expected to open up last year's timid offense in the Windy City. While Jordan Howard will control the running opportunities, Cohen should receive plenty of chances to make plays in empty space, making the second-year pro an intriguing PPR flex option. The only RB with 50+ catches in each of the last three seasons, Riddick has maintained PPR value (RB 18, 25, and 26) despite compiling 776 combined rushing yards on 219 carries. Drafters are nevertheless unethused with a steady hand who has not scored more than six TDs in a single season or hit the 100-yard plateau since Oct. 20, 2016. Kerryon Johnson's three-down abilities caps Riddick's ceiling, but he's a useful low-floor PPR bench pick.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
If you are looking for upside in the middle of your drafts, look no further than Cohen, who is also known as the human joystick. Matt Nagy loves pass-catching backs and Cohen was heavily underutilized last season. He is a real threat to break out as a result, but there is nowhere near enough safety here to rely on him each week. The Lions backfield is loaded with several decent backs who are all about on the same level. It will be tough for most of them to find touches except for Riddick who has his job locked in. Expect much of the same, making him a solid depth piece to fill in during bye weeks and injuries.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
He had 53 receptions on a prehistoric offense last year that hated using good players. Was ignored for weeks at a time. Still finished as RB34. Now he has new coaches vowing to install a more pass centric offense and utilize him more. @DFF_RyanB It's not accurate to list Cohen as a running back anymore. He requires a slash, as in running back/wide receiver. Nagy has Cohen lining up everywhere to maximize his speed, agility and explosiveness with the ball in his hands. Cohen has welcomed the challenge of learning multiple positions and has done well retaining the details required of each. He's the Bears' most dynamic player. ChicagoTribune.com
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Another team that didn't add a running back in the draft was the Bears, who will be riding the shoulders of Jordan Howard and Cohen. While they did add quite a bit of receiving talent to the roster, Cohen is a movable chess piece that Matt Nagy can have some fun with. Cohen was able to finish as the RB30 last year despite having the vanilla John Fox as his head coach. Beat reporters are saying that he should be listed as a RB/WR with the way Nagy has moved him around the formation. Possibly one of the hardest players to predict in fantasy football, as Riddick has been one of the more consistent RB3/RB4's in the game the last few years, but the scenery has changed quite a bit in Detroit.
Staff Rankings
QB List
Cohen should be getting more touches than he does as he's flashed some big-play ability, but he's likely going to be second-fiddle behind Jordan Howard. Still, he'll have a notable role, especially as a receiving back where he saw 71 passes last season. Unfortunately, he wasn't particularly effective as a receiving back, posting a miserable -30.6% DVOA. As it stands, Cohen is a back who primarily serves as a valuable handcuff to Howard, but could also have some flex value in PPR leagues-even if he isn't effective as a receiver, he'll still get passes, and those receptions will add up.In the past, Riddick has been a worthwhile flex option in PPR leagues but not worth much in standard leagues. Now, with the addition of Kerryon Johnson alongside LeGarrette Blount, Riddick's value may decrease even more. Still, he's a good pass-catching running back, so he might still get some work.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
A lot like Chris Thompson, but I'm more intrigued here just because Nagy is so creativeRiddick has more value in PPR formats but even there it's tough to project him too high given all the bodies in DET now
Andrew Erickson
Gridiron Experts
The weapon himself love the upside in the Matt Nagy offense. Could see him in a Tyreek Hill type of role. A better value for me than Howard because you can get Cohen later in drafts. (8th round)

Win My Fantasy League
Nagy has plans to deploy Cohen in many of the same ways he did with Tyreke Hill in Kansas City
