While the Pats have what seems like a dozen weapons this year, we know Brady loves throwing to his running backs. Even if Dion Lewis stays healthy, this job belongs to James White, who has been among the most efficient pass-catching running backs. He won't be worthy of a start every week, but is a nice bye week fill-in.The Seahawks added Lacy and they do have Prosise sniffing around for touches too, but the Seahawks appear committed to still get the ball in Rawls' hands too. With that being said, his ceiling is limited and he shouldn't be start-worthy many weeks because of the abysmal Seahawks' offensive line.

White appears to have won the receiving running back job in New England, which is a good place to be for PPR leagues. Coach Belichick can screw you out of points on a week-to-week basis due to game plan, but with this offense, it won't happen too often as long as White remains the primary receiving back. With Eddie Lacy in the fold, Rawls' value takes a big hit. I like Lacy more than Rawls and will draft accordingly.

Super Bowl hero James White caught 60 passes last season with five for touchdowns. Historically, it's been tough to predict production out of Patriots running backs. White appears to be safe. Auction Value $8 Rawls was a disappointment last season due to injuries and poor play. The addition of Lacy in Seattle makes it difficult for Rawls to have any real Fantasy value. Auction Value $4

The "should have been" Super Bowl MVP has been underrated this off-season, but not by the people that matter most. The Patriots extended him this off-season and paid him more than any other running back on the roster. He was the only player who finished in the top-36 last year without seeing at least 110 touches. If his role grows, as we expect it to, White should be in the running to finish as an RB2 in PPR leagues and a solid RB3 in standard leagues. After averaging 5.6 yards per carry in his rookie season, Rawls just didn't look the same returning from his ankle surgery, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry. He's someone who continually works his way up my draft board, as he is reportedly looking more and more like his 2015-self. If that's the case, he could be one of the steals at the end of drafts.
Richard Savill
Fantasy Six Pack
With Lacy holding steady with his weight control, Rawls and to an almost equal extent Prosise hungrily wait in the wings. Seahawks not near as fantasy secure in the backfield as in seasons past.
