Brady with a more explosive offense and a full 16-game season is an elite fantasy force - even at age 40Cousins is a man on a mission with a talented offense around him. He's a viable QB1 again.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Brady had only 3,554 yards and 28 passing touchdowns in 2016, but that was in only 12 games. Those numbers should go up if he can play 16 games this year. The only concern is that he turns 40-years old this year, but he is in great health and the addition of WR Brandin Cooks should help this offense.Cousins had a great fantasy season with 4,917 yards passing, 25 passing touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns. Washington lost two starting receivers, but did add WR Tyrelle Pryor in free agency.

We don't typically suggest targeting top QBs unless you are in in a guppy league and KNOW you are going to dominate sleepers throughout the draft. Who cares if he's not a great NFL QB, he's a great Fantasy QB. No problem sitting back and waiting on QB this year, as always.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
(4900 Pass Yds, 37 Pass TD) He's a top 5 QB every year, with all of the new weapons he could put up astronomical numbers.(4650yds, 26TD) He was a top 5ish QB in 2016, depending on where you look. I don't think Pryor and Doctson will be able to completely supplement the loss of Garcon and Jackson.
Brandon Funston
Fantasy Spin
What needs to be said here? He's the most accomplished QB in the history of the game, and 2 of his top 5 fantasy campaigns (based on PPG) have come in each of the past 2 seasons - and his stable of receiving weapons for '17 is among the most talented that he's ever worked with
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Brady will be 76 this season, but since he's a system quarterback, I expect he'll be fine. Plus, the addition of Brandin Cooks and hopefully a healthy Rob Gronkowski should make give Brady plenty of upside, even at his ripe old age.Cousins lost DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, but gained Terrelle Pryor Jr. and possibly Josh Doctson as well as having Jamison Crowder and Jordan Reed in the mix. Washington doesn't have much going in the run game, which should keep the team from throwing a ton. Cousins should be a Top-10 fantasy quarterback on volume alone.

QB List
Some have Brady ranked as high as this year's QB2. I find that hard to justify since he's going to be breathing the rarefied air of the quadragenarian this year. In other words, he old. This concern should not be taken lightly. There have only been a handful of quarterbacks in the history of the NFL who have even taken the field at 40 years old. Of those, only Brett Farve who produced at a high level. That's it. Brady is attempting something that has only ever been done once in the history of the NFL . I get that Brady is special, he's the best quarterback who has ever played the game. Still, being good at football has no bearing on the fact that there is a very real limit to how long a player can continue to produce. Peyton Manning is also a good player. He had the best single season by a quarterback ever in 2013 at age 37. In 2014 at age 38, he threw for almost 1000 fewer yards than he had the year before. In 2015 at age 39, he barely crossed the line as the QB32! The numbers do not lie. There is a very real cliff - a point at which a quarterback's body and mind say 'No more!'. Is Brady at that point? I don't know, but it is worth mentioning that he is one year older than Manning was when he imploded. In any case, when extrapolated to sixteen games, Brady's 2016 production would still have only been good enough for a QB5 finish. True, he's getting Rob Gronkowski back, and Brandin Cooks is certainly a fun new toy, but will they be enough to significantly improve on last year's totals?Quietly the QB5 last year, Cousins is the victim of low sex appeal. Don't sleep on him. Surrounded by weapons in a pass-first offense, Kirk gon' eat, the guy had at least 300 yards or two touchdowns 14 times last year, he finds ways to get you fantasy points. Cousins' ADP is hovering around the mid 80s - he is easily the best value of the top QBs and someone I'll be targeting in every draft.
Sablich Brothers
5th Down Fantasy
No signs of slowing down entering his age 40 season; YPA was his best since 2011 and his completion percentage his highest since 2007; Brandin Cooks will be the deep threat he's been lacking since Randy Moss left. Finished 2016 as QB5; has twice set franchise record for total passing yards; 11.9 percent of his passes were for 21-plus yards; will need Crowder and Doctson to pick up slack, and Reed to stay relatively healthy.

Brady was his normal excellent self in 13 games last season. A full schedule this year may make him the top quarterback in Fantasy. Auction Value $25 Washington still lacks a rushing attack and Cousins has the weapons to flirt with 5,000 passing yards. Auction Value $10
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Brady may be turning 40 years old before Week 1's kickoff, but he put together the single most efficient 12 games in NFL history last year then proceeded to add Brandin Cooks and Dwayne Allen to an already loaded depth chart. Brady doesn't throw as much of Brees and Luck, especially in the red zone, so even though he may be the best QB in football, his ADP should not reflect that. There has not been a more accurate passer in the NFL over the past two seasons and don't forget that he was QB #6 last season thanks to 4,900 passing yards. The Redskins may have lost some weapons, but Cousins has staying power as a QB1.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
While everyone else tries to figure out who he'll will throw to and which running back will get the majority of the carries, just take Brady and enjoy your points.Since 2014, here is the list of quarterbacks who've thrown for more yards per attempt than Kirk Cousins (min. 600 attempts): Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Ryan. That's it. While he did lose Desean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, they attempted to right that by acquiring Terrelle Pryor. He'll also get last year's first-round pick Josh Doctson on the field, attempting to take over Garcon's role in the offense. It may take time to get acclimated, but Cousins is a back-end QB1.
