Sleepers and Busts
The Bengals drafted Burrow's old college teammate, WR JaMarr Chase which should help the offense. The concern- can the Bengals offensive line protect him? Cincy also plays a brutal schedule. Baltimore, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh all have tough defenses and they play each of them twice! I really like Burrow's future, but I'd temper expectations for 2021.Trevor's value all depends on what Urban Meyer does with Tim Tebow. If he uses Tebow instead of Lawrence down inside the five, Trevor's value takes a major hit. (And he could because Lawrence had some shoulder surgery in the offseason. Jacksonville is being extra careful with their prized draft pick in OTA's.) If not, Trevor could surprise a lot of fantasy folks. He's mobile & gets valuable rushing pts. He's one of the more heralded QB prospects to come out since Andrew Luck. Lawrence reminds me of a long haired, taller version of Roger Staubach. Ringo's advice- monitor the Tebow situation in preseason closely.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
For a rookie QB to come in last season and put up the type of numbers that Burrow did is extremely exciting. While the injury certainly places a bit of concern over Burrow's 2021 outlook, all signs are pointing to him being fully healthy and ready for Week 1. With Chase now in town, plus the other receiving options and a revamped offensive line, Burrow has everything he needs to be successful for fantasy football in 2021. This is going to be a fun offense to watch and they're going to put up some crazy numbers. If you miss out on one of the top-tier QB options in your draft, don't panic. Draft Burrow and feel great about getting him at a discount this season because of the injury. It's going to be extremely tempting to pull the trigger on Lawrence in your redraft leagues later on, but we simply don't know how he's going to translate to the NFL level right away. He has the mobility and rushing upside to do great things down the road, but he shouldn't be someone that you draft with confidence and roll out there Week 1. You can draft him as a second QB if you're someone who likes deploying that strategy or keep an eye on him on your waiver wire. Unfortunately, we might see his ADP creep up by the time drafts roll around where he's going ahead of more surefire options at the QB position. In that situation, I'll lean back on experience and draft someone else who I've seen produce in the NFL previously. Lawrence has the potential to be a low-end QB1 for fantasy...it just might not happen right away.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
When Burrow went down with a torn ACL last year, he was sitting as the QB16 in the fantasy rankings, just behind Jared Goff and Teddy Bridgewater. That's not exactly living up to expectations. He is apparently on track to be back in the lineup for Week 1, but his mobility might be limited, especially to start the year, which will put a damper on his fantasy upside. The good news is that the Bengals improved the offensive line this offseason, as well as drafting Ja'Marr Chase at No. 5 overall based on Burrow's recommendation. He now has one of the best trio of wide receivers in the game, paired with a rebuilding defense, which should be the recipe for plenty of pass attempts. But again, dial back expectations because of his mobility. Burrow is best-served as a high-end QB2 in fantasy this year. While it's typically tough for a rookie quarterback to make it into top-12 territory, Lawrence is likely the exception to the rule. He comes in as an advanced passer who has tremendous touch on his passes that not many rookies do. The Jaguars defense is in clear rebuild mode, which should allow for plenty of pass attempts, making 4,000-plus passing yards likely. On top of that, Lawrence has great mobility and is likely to rush for 400-plus yards and a handful of touchdowns on the ground. That alone should get him into the top-15, with a good chance at top-12.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Burrow was the 16th ranked quarterback after Week 11 and he should be in the QB2 mix provided he is cleared to play in Week 1. All signs point to him being ready at this point in the offseason.Lawrence is a generational talent that should immediately be in the QB2 discussion as a rookie with QB1 upside.
Brendan Tuma
FantasyPros
Joe Burrow finished 19th out of 42 quarterbacks in Pro Football Focus' passing grade last season. But it's no secret that he was under siege most of the time, and it's notable that Burrow rated out far better when it comes to intermediate throws, which are a stickier stat on a year-to-year basis, and thus a better indicator of true talent. Burrow finished fifth according to this metric and his overall grade was ultimately doomed by a weak 20.8% deep-ball completion rate. Again, perhaps the offensive line is the primary reason for this. Questions remain about how much of an effort the Bengals made to improve that unit this offseason, but there are at least reasons to think it'll be better, even if it isn't exactly all that strong. Cincinnati has enough weapons and should play at a fast enough pace to make Burrow an exciting late-round QB in '21 fantasy drafts.
Joe Pisapia
FantasyPros
Before the ACL tear, Joe Burrow looked very much like an emerging star at QB for the Bengals. He was on pace for 4.3K yards and around 25 combined TDs. In the good news department, the Bengals drafted his favorite target Ja'Marr Chase from LSU to add to an already strong WR group, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. They did pick up two offensive linemen, Jackson Carman and D'Ante Smith, as well. They had both better perform because Burrow was sacked 31 times in 10 weeks (2nd most sacks taken by a QB in '20). But the best news, besides the fact Joe Burrow is medically on track for the start of the season, is that the Bengals defense is still going to be deficient in 2021. That means Joe Burrow will constantly be looking to put up points, and that's fantasy gold. He threw for 300 yards in 5 of his ten games last season and should be well over 4K yards in 2021. The one caveat here is that although Burrow was sneaky mobile in college, you may see a more conservative approach for him post major knee surgery. Burrow is a top 10 dynasty QB, and in 2021, he should be considered a low-endQB1. Just know, there will be some highs and lows in that game log.Generational talent. There is no "comp" for Trevor Lawrence. He's the best QB prodigy since Peyton Manning, but far more athletic. He has arm strength, speed, awareness. The total package. He's stepping into a team with a fair amount to work with on day one, and he will be the starter in Week 1. Urban Meyer has had success everywhere, but the NFL is a different animal. How the whole thing comes together will be fascinating to watch. However, Trevor Lawrence is worth a top 3 dynasty pick in any format and has the upside to finish as a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 in redraft leagues. The term "can't miss" can be overused, but, it's appropriate when describing Trevor Lawrence.

This offense may be the Dallas Cowboys of the AFC, with volume and excellent weapons throughout the offense. I'm aggressive with him as my QB8 and he's going to be a guy I'm very happy to wait on after the "Konami Code" quarterbacks all go from Round 4-7 in redraft.
Tim Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
The addition of Ja'Marr Chase has many fantasy football players excited for the prospect of Joe Burrow reconnecting with his LSU mate and what that might mean for fantasy production. Let's not forget, however, that Burrow is coming off of a major knee injury. In addition, the offensive line is trash and the Bengals are counting on past-prime veterans and rookies to fill the holes. Burrow struggled on long passes last year, finishing behind guys like Nick Foles, Gardener Minshew and Sam Darnold in big plays despite more attempts. His average time of 2.3 seconds in the pocket was 2nd to last (Big Ben) among QBs with at least 400 throws. If he doesn't get more time in the pocket, the year two bump you expect to see may need to wait. The wonder kid may be coming into the NFL as a "can't miss," but he is still a rookie, playing for a rookie NFL head coach on a franchise that has seen little success. Although his talent is undeniable, going into the season with Sunshine as your QB1 is a recipe for streaming.
