Lineups
It's hard for me to grasp that more people aren't talking about D.J. Moore's phenomenal sophomore season. He had 87 catches for 1,175 yards and 4 touchdowns despite catching passes from a hobbled Cam Newton, Kyle Allen, and Will Grier. Now, Moore will benefit greatly from the introduction of Teddy Bridgewater as the new starting quarterback. The team's defense has also gotten worse since last year and will be starting several rookies, so game script should favor the passing game. Matt Rhule and Joe Brady will help scheme Moore open in creative ways and he's almost certainly due for positive touchdown regression. He's one of my favorite players for fantasy football this season, especially when you can draft him in the third or even fourth round.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Moore had 1,215 yards from scrimmage, but only 4 touchdowns in 2020. Teddy Bridgewater is the quarterback in Carolina this year, Moore should easily be their most targeted wide receiver.I have had Green as the receiver to own in Cincinnati most of the offseason, but training camp has been battling hamstring issues and just does not appear that he can stay healthy. Boyd seems like the receiver to own in Cincinnati at this point.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
The departure of Devin Funchess prior to last season made Moore the undisputed No. 1 wideout in Carolina, and he emerged as the No. 2 target in the passing game behind running back Christian McCaffrey. Because of Moore's speed and versatility, the Panthers' new coaching regime will likely continue to use him on a wide variety of route concepts. After having served as the Rams' quarterbacks coach in 2018, the offense Bengals head coach Zac Taylor installed in Cincinnati last season was similar to the one Sean McVay implemented in Los Angeles. It turned out to be Boyd who benefited most among Cincinnati's wideouts, as he was one of only seven NFL players to surpass 145 targets in 2019.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
D.J. Moore had a very impressive sophomore season, proving he's the clear Panthers WR1. He should get even better in year 3 as he's still very young and the Panthers look like they'll be regularly chasing the game. In most circumstances you'd suggest a 1000 yard receiver should expect far more than 6 TDs in his first two seasons combined, but Moore is rarely a green zone target (only three targets inside the 10 last year) so he may just be a guy who doesn't score often. The addition of Robby Anderson is also reason for concern so I'd suggest using some caution, especially in non-PPR leagues. The upside is very high if everything kicks though.Tyler Boyd put together another strong WR2 season on the back of 1000+ yards and 5 TDs, despite some bad luck around the goal line. Now rejoined by A.J. Green and John Ross and with the additions of Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins, this offense is going to look very different in 2020. That takes away from Boyd's upside a little but he should remain a major part of an offence that might finally get it together this season. He's great value in the middle of the seventh round.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It really stinks that we may not get to see Moore play with a top-tier quarterback during his early years. He's an extremely good football player who's been stuck in a bad situation. He made the most of bad targets last year, finishing as the WR18 and delivering WR2 or better performances 60.0 percent of the time, which ranked eighth among wide receivers. Now another obstacle to cross. He'll have a new quarterback and a new head coach in 2020. The coach (Matt Rhule) also decided they needed to bring in Robby Anderson, a receiver who previously played under him, which could mean the targets get spread out a bit. The good news is that Bridgewater attempted a deep ball on just 7.1 percent of his pass attempts, which was the second-lowest rate in the NFL, and not an area where Moore operates. The talent is there for Moore to make a jump into WR1 status, but the situation doesn't seem ideal with virtually no offseason. He's best suited as a WR2 on fantasy teams, as top-24 should be his absolute floor. After finishing as the WR17 in 2018 and then the WR23 in 2019, Boyd's being disrespected in fantasy drafts, coming off the board outside the top 30 wide receivers. Sure, A.J. Green is back in the lineup, but drafters aren't high on him, either. Oddly enough, Boyd was a better fantasy asset with Green in the lineup in 2018. Boyd is 25 years old, it's surely not his age. Do people really think that Joe Burrow will be a downgrade from Andy Dalton? That can't be it. Looking at Burrow at LSU, his top receiver (stat-wise) was Justin Jefferson, who put up a stupid 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. Jefferson was his slot receiver. While it's a different offense, we know Boyd saw 147 targets in the first year of Zac Taylor's offense. He's the ideal WR3 who's already proven to be better than that, and if the public is right on Green being "done", then Boyd would be a mega-hit in fantasy.

Teddy B. is not helping me keep DJ up this high in the rankingsI am not worried about Joe Burrow getting him the ball. Boyd is the least talked about WR in fantasy and usually overlooked but his 90 receptions and 1,000+ yards in 2019, he should most certainly have your attention for 2020

Moore brokeout last season, and should continue his ascendence into the top ten.AJ Green has not stayed healthy, Boyd is another great pick as the likelihood Green misses time is high.

Former 1st round pick, D.J. Moore had a breakout season in 2019 and that was with Kyle Allen throwing him the ball. Now he has Teddy Bridgewater who looked terrific in New Orleans last year at QB. Moore could be the NFL's next star WR, the only concern I have is how long it will take for him and Bridgewater to build a connection due to COVID.Boyd had a career year in 2019 totaling 90 receptions, 1,046 yards, and five TDs. Both the receptions and yardage were career-highs. His only issue was getting in the end-zone, Joe Burrow should make that a lot easier. Even if A.J. Green manages to stay healthy, Boyd can still finish as a high-end WR3/low-end WR2.

DJ Moore averaged 16.4 PPG (seventh-most among WRs) in 14 healthy games last year. As a 22-year-old with Kyle Allen at QB. One of the best prospects in recent memory with a historic start to his career. Panthers won't throw as much, but they should still be high-volume. @JackMiller02Boyd 2018 16 game pace (played 13.5): 128 targets, 90 receptions, 1218 receiving yards, 8 TDs 2019 Non-Ryan Finley 16 game pace (played 13): 156 targets, 96 receptions, 1085 receiving yards, 5 TDs. @FF_RyanB Tyler Boyd gets a lot of targets, but they have been lower leverage for fantasy points. @LordReebs

Moore's essentially a lock for seeing over 130 targets again in 2020. While he might not put up high TD totals in this offense, he's going to be a PPR machine this season. As long as Moore can stay healthy, he'll return value on his current ADP.Boyd has plenty of competition for targets this season, but this offense is going to be among the league's best. There should be plenty of scoring opportunities for Boyd and he's a steal at his current ADP. He's a fantastic WR2/WR3 option for your roster.

New QB Bridgewater won't accentuate Moore's verticals skills, but he should be heavily targeted, allowing him to put his ample Yards After Catch skills to work

Love the Joe Brady hire as OC. LSU's WRs dominated under his tutelage and usage, and Moore can expect more creative playcalling than ever before. But will Robby A's addition be more a positive (clearing space) or negative (target competition)?Burrow's addition is huge, and Green's return isn't as disastrous as many might think, since Boyd is at his most dangerous when feasting upon No.2 corners. A near lock to go underappreciated in drafts, and could outpace Green if he develops the better immediate rapport

Back to back years with under performance in the TDs. Despite that, he's still finished as a flex worthy, or better option, in .5ppr.I might be in the minority but barely putting up 1000 yards on 150 targets is more of a caution for me than anything. QB play was bad, no doubt. Think he is more of a complimentary piece in an offense That can be Jarvis Landry like at best. Not a bad thing to be, but I think his athleticism caps him.
