FantasyPros
Last season, DeAndre Washington was excellent behind that stellar offensive line. If Lynch were to go down with an injury, or re-retire randomly, Washington has a tremendous ceiling. With that being said, even in that scenario, he might end up just splitting carries with Richard so the odds of a major breakout are on the smaller side. With Ryan Mathews now out of town, Smallwood is the main competitor for Blount's carries. Even if he can't beat him out or split early-down carries, we should be looking at a reliable 3rd down pass catcher.

WalterFootball
Washington will likely fight for work with Jalen Richard and could be very useful if the aged Marshawn Lynch can't hold up under a 16-game season. The signing of LeGarrette Blount hurt Smallwood's chances for work this year, but he's still in the mix.
Staff Rankings
QB List
See Jalen Richard, above. The Eagles have one of the best offensive lines in football, and they do not have a clear-cut lead back. There is a chance (however small) that someone like Smallwood might distinguish themselves, and should that happen, there could be some real upside.

Washington, who ran well at times last year, would need Marshawn Lynch to go down to have any kind of Fantasy value. Auction Value $1 Smallwood will likely spend 2017 on the wrong side of a timeshare with LaGarrette Blount. Auction Value $1
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
This time last year, most thought that Washington could be one of the biggest steals in drafts. The odd part about him falling down draft boards is that he actually played really well in his rookie season, averaging 5.4 yards per carry, and showing elusiveness on his receptions. If something were to happen to the 31-year-old Marshawn Lynch, Washington might just turn out to be one of the biggest steals in 2017 drafts.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
We have to assume that Oakland is going to sign another RB, possibly Marshawn Lynch, or draft one.
