Cam Newton tossed three interceptions in the season finale against the Buccaneers. Newton finished with 237 yards and one touchdown, while adding six yards on the ground. It was a tough season for Newton, who completed a career-worst 52.7 percent of his passes this season. Newton finished with 3,272 yards passing and 23 total touchdowns to 11 interceptions in 14 games played.
Fantasy Impact:
This was Newton's worst season of his career with a career low in completion percentage and half the amount of rushing touchdowns as 2015. Newton will look to rebound in 2017, returning to the player who scored 45 total touchdowns in 2015. Despite the down year, he will likely be one of the top quarterbacks off the board in 2017 due to his rushing abilities and potential.
