Rashad Jennings, Paul Perkins to share backfield

New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan believes running backs Rashad Jennings and Paul Perkins "compliment each other well." Giants beat writer Jordan Raanan expects the team to "use [them] both [a] good amount" in the playoffs. (Jordan Raanan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Perkins played sporadically throughout the season until he began to receive at least 11 touches per game in his last four. The rookie rusher had his breakout game in the season finale at Washington in which he received 21 carries for 102 yards. For Jennings, he struggled mightily in 2016 finishing with only 593 yards rushing and three touchdowns through 13 games played. The onus of his travails could be attributed to New York's offensive line, who entered the year ranked 20th in their position group by Pro Football Focus. For Perkins, he could solidify himself as New York's No. 1 running back for 2017 with a superior showing in the playoffs.
