Sterling Shepard goes for 63-yards in Giants' Wild Card loss

by Nick Ritrivi | Giants Correspondent | Mon, Jan 9th 8:43am EST

Sterling Shepard had 63 yards receiving on four receptions in the Giants' 38-13 loss to the Packers in the NFC Wild Card game. Shepard was targeted nine times and had two drops (including a dropped TD pass) in the contest.

Fantasy Impact:

Not a great day for the Giants' WRs, including Shepard, who dropped passes from a solid Eli Manning. Despite the somewhat poor performance by Shepard, he will head into 2017 as a solid WR3 with WR2 upside as he continues to acclimate to the NFL. Hopefully, the Giants will make some coaching personnel moves on offense (and OL moves) which will enable them to develop a more effective and consistent unit for 2017 enhancing the fantasy value of the Giants' offensive players including Shepard.
