Jordy Nelson's status for NFC Championship game uncertain

by Anthony Cervino | Mon, Jan 16th 6:01pm EST

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy told the media wide receiver Jordy Nelson (ribs) completed a "regeneration workout" in its entirety Monday. However, the head coach was non-committal on Nelson's practice status for Wednesday. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Nelson's status for Wednesday's practice is up in the air as he is dealing with a pair of fractured ribs sustained in the Wild Card Round. He was inactive for Sunday's Divisional Round Playoff win over the Cowboys and will make another attempt to play this week at Atlanta. Nelson will need a miraculous turnaround in his recovery to make himself available to play in the NFC Championship game. If he is ruled out, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison will handle the primary wide receiver duties in his absence.
