Atlanta Falcons put up a good effort against Seahawks

by Chris Zolli | Falcons Correspondent | Mon, Jan 16th 6:23pm EST

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Seattle Seahawks 36-20 to move into the NFC Championship and their defense put up a double-digit fantasy effort. Three sacks and two interceptions were the big reason that the Falcons were effective defensively and Atlanta also had 5.5 tackles for a loss. The Falcons will play the Packers in the NFC Championship game.

Fantasy Impact:

The Seahawks were held to only 309 yards and were only 1-for-3 in the red zone as well. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks' passing attack only had 208 yards with Wilson only converting 55.67% of his passes. The Falcons beat the Packers 33-32 on October 31 and the Packers allowed the 8th-fewest points to fantasy defenses this season.
