Shaq Lawson undergoes surgery

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Buffalo Bills pass rusher Shaq Lawson (knee) underwent a knee scope shortly following the 2016 season. The network insider said that the "team projects him to be fine for all offseason activities." (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Lawson underwent a knee scope in January, which is considered a minor procedure and is expected to be a full-go for all of the team's offseason work. Lawson tallied 13 total tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble while playing in only 10 games in his rookie year due to a lingering shoulder injury sustained during his senior season at Clemson. He'll look to make a greater impact in 2017 playing under new Bills head coach Sean McDermott, who is considered one of the brightest defensive minds in the NFL.
