Antonio Brown to remain with Pittsburgh long-term?

by Anthony Cervino | Tue, Jan 31st 6:19pm EST

Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II told the media Tuesday wide receiver Antonio Brown is "another player we're hoping to....have here for a long time." (Gerry Dulac on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

"Antonio is a good guy, a good person," Rooney said. "I enjoy him personally. He's someone his teammates like to have on the team." Rooney's comments on Brown were positive. But, he did say he viewed the diva wideout's antics as "little annoyances, with the emphasis on little." Like many of the elite wide receivers preceding Brown -- see Terrell Owens -- they come with baggage. Although their actions generally do not result in suspensions or breaking the law, their somewhat immature antics could eventually divide a locker room and cause issues with the quarterback if not involved in the game. Despite the recent negative emphasis on Brown's behavior, he remains one of the league's top players at his position. Brown is poised to become the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL this offseason.
