DeSean Jackson viewed 'inconsistent' by Redskins' brass

by Anthony Cervino | Thu, Feb 9th 5:58pm EST

Mike Jones of the Washington Post doesn't expect the Washington Redskins to retain wide receiver DeSean Jackson this offseason. Jones states that the franchise views Jackson as an "extremely talented" asset who is "too inconsistent for management"s taste." (Washington Post )

Fantasy Impact:

Despite Jackson's resurgence in the second half of 2016 -- he caught three touchdowns and accumulated four games of at least 100 yards receiving since Week 9 -- the Redskins are not planning on re-signing the veteran wideout in the offseason. Jackson, who caught 56 targets for 1,005 yards receiving and four touchdowns in 15 games played last season, has been linked to the Eagles since December. They will likely make a run at their former receiver once free agency opens on March 11.
