Oakland Raiders beat writer Vic Tafur does not "expect" the team to re-sign running back Latavius Murray this offseason. (Vic Tafur on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Murray, who is an impending free agent, will likely have the chance to test the open market when the free agency signing period begins on March 9. The Raiders are not expected to re-sign him per reports. The three-year veteran played in 14 games in 2016 and accumulated 788 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground while adding another 264 yards off of 33 receptions as a receiver out of the backfield. If the Raiders indeed move on from Murray, they will be poised to bring in another rusher this offseason to fill the void.
