Tavarres King could be a 'key' player for Giants in 2017

by Anthony Cervino | Tue, Feb 14th 2:06pm EST

James Kratch of NJ.com believes Tavarres King has "a real shot to carve out a role as a key member of the receiver rotation" for the New York Giants in 2017. (NJ.com)

Fantasy Impact:

King is a relatively unknown commodity in the football world. In three seasons with New York and Tampa Bay, he only appeared in nine games and accumulated a total of four receptions for 63 yards. However, now that the Giants released Victor Cruz, he has the opportunity to showcase his size and speed at the wide receiver position this offseason and work his way into the No. 3 or No. 4 spot on the depth chart. The Giants are young at wideout and could benefit from bringing in a quality veteran via free agency for leadership purposes.
