Nick Folk cut by Jets

Fantasy Impact:
After playing for the team since 2010, Folk was cut by the Jets on Thursday. The 10-year veteran was successful on 27-of-31 field goal attempts and 24-of-26 extra point attempts in 2016. He'll likely sign with another team and compete for a job at some point this offseason. However, he may have to wait until training camp to find another suitor. In the wake of Folk's release, the Jets saved $3 million in salary cap space.
