Mario Addison has signed a 3-year deal worth $22.5 million to return to the Panthers. Addison is coming his best season of his career with 9.5 sacks and one fumble recovered to go along with a career-high 27 total tackles in 14 games. Addison will provide the Panthers another edge rusher which is a position of need for them in the draft or free agency. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Addison isn't a Jared Allen type name but he played well this past season. With Allen gone and Charles Johnson likely leaving town, Addison and some fellow newcomers will lead the pass rush next season. The Panthers DST hinges on the health of Luke Kuechly.
