C.J. Prosise, Thomas Rawls to compete for starting job

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll made it "clear" that Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise will "compete" for the starting running back job in 2017. (Marc Sessler on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It appears that Rawls is not a shoe in to enter 2017 as Seattle's starting running back. Impending sophomore Prosise is expected to compete with Rawls for the top spot on the depth chart. As Rawls struggled for most of the 2016 season, Prosise, when healthy, was a stud, especially in the passing game. He caught 17 targets for 208 yards in six games. Due to their respective skill sets, expect Rawls to enter next season as Seattle's early down back, with Prosise garnering the role of the team's third-down back and primary receiver out of the backfield.
