Fantasy Impact:
After two disappointing seasons in San Francisco, Smith is being released. The veteran wideout only accumulated 53 receptions for 930 yards and seven touchdowns in 28 games during his tenure with the club. His 20-267-3 stat line in 12 games last season were all career lows. Smith, 28, could be pursued by the Eagles while on the open market this offseason. They had an interest in trading for him during the regular season.
