Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (foot) told the media he underwent minor foot surgery Monday to remove a bunion, which has "bothered him for years." (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

After speculation, Jones did, in fact, undergo a foot procedure Monday, to remove a bunion. The elite Falcons wideout is expected to be sidelined through spring workouts but should be ready to go for July's training camp. His projected recovery timeline is roughly 4-to-5 months.
