Chandler Jones, Cardinals finalizing long-term deal

ESPN's Dianna Russini is reporting the Arizona Cardinals and pass rusher Chandler Jones agreed to terms on a five-year deal Wednesday. (Dianna Russini on Twitter)

Jones, who was franchise tagged, will not play 2017 under the tender after all. He is getting a five-year deal from the Cardinals that is expected to be finalized Wednesday. One of the league's premier pass rushers, the 27-year old is tied to Arizona until the 2022 season. Jones finished the 2016 season with 11 sacks, four forced fumbles, two recoveries and three passes defended.
