NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Chicago Bears and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery are continuing to "discuss a potential deal as he weighs offers from other teams. " (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

With the free agent signing period set to open at 4 pm Thursday, the possibility of Jeffery re-signing with the Bears is not out of the question. Per reports, Jeffery is weighing out offers from other teams before he ultimately makes his decision on where he will play moving forward. He is expected to receive a deal that pays him north of $15 million per year on the open market. With DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon and Kenny Britt already agreeing to deals with new clubs, Jeffery will be in even higher demand with the free agent wide receiver class quickly depleting.
