Although Hightower visited with Pittsburgh Tuesday, Kinkhabwala is reporting that a deal was offered but remains unsigned. However, the NFL Insider is also stating that if Hightower leaves Pittsburgh's, the deal will be off the table. Still, Hightower is expected to return to New England in an attempt to negotiate a deal with the Patriots.
