Tyler Lockett 'ahead of schedule' in his rehab

ESPN's Sheil Kapadia told ESPN's Mike Clay Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (leg) is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from a broken leg and "should be ready" for the 2017 season opener. (Mike Clay on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Lockett, who suffered a broken leg in Week 16 last season, should be ready for Week 1, per Kapadia. The speedy wideout/ return ace struggled for most of the 2016 season as he dealt with a lingering PCL injury for most of the year, but he began to turn his season around down the stretch. From Weeks 13 through 16, Lockett accumulated 18 receptions for 272 yards and a touchdown as a receiver while adding three carries for 90 yards and another score as a rusher. If Lockett enters 2017 at full health, he could finally have the breakout campaign that he was expected to have last season.
