Promising rookie DE Marsh injures knee at practice

by Michael White | Wed, Aug 13th 4:33pm EDT

Cassius Marsh got tangled up on a running drill during Wednesday's practice. The News Tribune's Gregg Bell says "it didn't look good." Marsh will have an MRI on the knee this week to determine the severity of the injury. (The News Tribune)

Fantasy Impact:

Already standing out throughout training camp, Marsh showed up when the lights went on in Denver for the Seahawks first preseason game. Collecting Seattle's only sack, barely missing another and consistently getting in the Denver backfield, Marsh flashed an ability to shed lineman with a high motor and advanced hand techniques he's acquired by participating in MMA training during the offseason. Marsh may present deep-sleeper, pass rushing IDP value in 2014 if this injury proves to be minor. A major setback would also likely derail any Dynasty talk as well. This is a situation worth monitoring.
