Tony Romo

Tony Romo to Broncos now an unlikely union

by Anthony Cervino | Mon, Mar 27th 5:05pm EDT

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway told the media "the plan is to stay the course" with Trever Siemian and Paxton Lynch. In the wake of Elway's remarks, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes the Broncos are out of the Tony Romo sweepstakes. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It appears that the Broncos will not pursue Romo, even if he is released by the Cowboys. At this point in the offseason, Denver is expected to move forward with Siemian and Lynch and will likely have the two signal callers battle it out in training camp to see who will emerge as the starter for 2017. If Elway's words hold true, Romo's market was just cut in half. The Texans are now his likeliest suitor for next season.
