Rex Burkhead receives praise from his former coach

Speaking Wednesday, Browns coach Hue Jackson said new Patriots RB Rex Burkhead will "flourish" in New England. "He's very talented," Jackson said. "He's going to get his opportunity now, and he's going to flourish. He's a really good player. A really good player. He's very versatile because he's a good runner, a good pass-catcher. He's a good blocker. He brings a lot of different elements to that football team." (CSNNE.com)
Fantasy Impact:
It definitely sounds like Burkhead could have a breakout season with the Patriots. Unfortunately, he will have to share the backfield with Dion Lewis and Super Bowl hero James White. And possibly free agent LeGarrette Blount if he can come to terms with the Patriots. With so many mouths to feed and the way the team likes to distribute the ball, it is hard to see Burkhead having a big impact in fantasy this season.
