Chase Daniel signs with Saints

The New Orleans Saints and free agent quarterback Chase Daniel agreed to terms on a one-year deal Wednesday. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After being cut by the Eagles in mid-March, Daniel signed with the Saints Wednesday. The seven-year veteran will likely compete with Luke McCown to be Drew Brees' primary backup for 2017 -- a spot McCown has held since 2013. Daniel spent the first three years of his pro career with the Saints from 2010-2012.
