Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott told the media running back LeSean McCoy is the only player on the team who is not in attendance for voluntary workouts that began on Monday. "It's voluntary," McDermott said. "I'm encouraged by my conversations with LeSean." (Buffalo Bills on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Although McCoy is absent from Bills' voluntary workouts that began yesterday, Pro Football Talk is reporting that his absence is not contract related. McCoy is coming off of an outstanding 2016 season which was his best statistical campaign since 2013. He accumulated 1,267 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground that includes seven games of at least 100 yards rushing and a 5.4 YPC average. He also caught 50 targets for 356 yards and another score as a receiver out of the backfield. The 28-year-old dual threat rusher is expected to the featured component of Buffalo's offense once again in the upcoming season and is considered a high-end fantasy option at his position as well for the 2017 campaign.
