Carlos Hyde's health remains in question

by Anthony Cervino | Tue, Apr 11th 5:11pm EDT

San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde (knee) told the media that he will test his knee out on Wednesday. "I’m back to running," Hyde said Tuesday. "I can cut, just not all the way I like to run, but I’m making improvement." (Cam Inman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hyde tore his MCL in Week 16 of the 2016 regular season but did not require surgery to repair the injury. Three months into the offseason, the 25-year-old rusher told the media that his knee is not fully healthy, but is making significant progress. Although he is not expected to be available for San Francisco's offseason workouts, Hyde should be a full go for the start of training camp in July. He should be in back-end RB1 conversation to open the 2017 fantasy football campaign barring a setback with his knee.
