Chad Kelly undergoes surgery

Tom Pelissero of the USA Today is reporting former Mississippi Rebels quarterback Chad Kelly (wrist) underwent wrist surgery on Monday. (USA Today Sports)

Kelly underwent surgery on Monday "for an acute rupture of a ligament between two bones in his throwing wrist." The 23-year-old signal caller is expected to be sidelined for the next three months with the "hope" that he will be "ready" for training camp in July. In the wake of his surgery, Kelly is now in danger of going undrafted.
