Teddy Bridgewater's future with Vikings uncertain past 2017

Bridgewater, who is recovering from a critical knee injury suffered in the 2016 preseason, has an uncertain future in Minnesota. ESPN is reporting that the Vikings are unlikely to pick up the signal caller's fifth-year option by the May 3 deadline. However, if Bridgewater spends the duration of the 2017 season on the PUP list, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Bridgewater's contract would "toll" and be extended through the 2018 campaign.
