Gary Barnidge cut by Browns

It comes to no surprise that Cleveland is moving on from Barnidge after selecting David Njoku 29th overall in the first round of the NFL Draft. With Barnidge gone, Njoku is poised to open the 2017 season as Cleveland's No. 1 tight end. Expect the Jets, who signed Josh McCown this offseason, to pursue Barnidge. The veteran TE had his best statistical performances while McCown was under center with the Browns, especially in 2015.
