Wayne Gallman selected 140th overall by Giants

The New York Giants have selected former Clemson running back Wayne Gallman with the 140th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact:
The Giants finally added a running back in the draft, which was a tremendous need for the club this offseason. The former Clemson rusher will likely have a difficult time seeing the field in 2017 however. New York already has Paul Perkins slated as their starter with Shane Vereen expected to open 2017 as the team's primary receiver out of the backfield. If the Giants add a veteran RB as rumors suggest, Gallman could find himself the low man on the totem pole in his rookie campaign.
