Jay Cutler pursuing broadcasting career?

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo is reporting free agent quarterback Jay Cutler is pursuing a career in broadcasting. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It appears that Cutler is considering retiring from the NFL and pursuing a career in broadcasting. Although the veteran signal caller has yet to retire, Garafolo said that Cutler and his reps "have spoken with network executives about football-related TV roles" and even went as far as auditioning for one. Cutler, who has garnered little interest on the open market, could ultimately retire this offseason if he can't land a starting job as playing the upcoming season as a backup doesn't seem like an option. However, the 34-year-old could wait it out until training camp and the preseason in the event a team's starter is lost to injury, in which he would then be the hottest quarterback on the market, along with Colin Kaepernick.
