Michael Floyd could be signed within a week

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting free agent wide receiver Michael Floyd "hopes to have a deal by the end of next week." (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Per Schefter, Floyd is "talking" with the Vikings and other unnamed teams around the league. The 27-year-old wideout, who finished the 2016 season with the Patriots following his release from the Cardinals with whom he spent the first five years of his career, could make a difference on a roster that needs help at wide receiver. However, if he lands with a club with a deep and established corps -- like the Patriots -- he'll likely be buried on the depth chart once again as he was in New England. Floyd's fantasy value will remain up in the air until he finds a suitor for 2017.
