Kareem Hunt could open 2017 as Spencer Ware's primary backup

Kansas City Chiefs beat writer Adam Teicher believes rookie running back Kareem Hunt "will earn playing time with a strong showing in training camp and the preseason." (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
With Spencer Ware the "likely starter," Hunt as a tremendous opportunity ahead to open the 2017 season as his primary backup. Since Kansas City usually employs a one-two punch at running back, Teicher suggests "Hunt's playing time could well increase over the course of the season as he becomes more familiar with the offense." From a fantasy perspective, Hunt should be viewed as a must-own over C.J. Spiller and Charcandrick West, the remaining backs on the Chiefs' depth chart. Target Hunt as Ware's handcuff in the later rounds of upcoming fantasy drafts.
