Christine Michael visits Patriots

Fantasy Impact:
The Patriots, who placed the rare May 9 tender on LeGarrette Blount Wednesday, brought Michael in for a visit Tuesday. It's been a busy offseason for the Patriots and running backs. They appear to be stockpiling a vast amount of depth at the position. From a fantasy football perspective, Michael signing with New England is a nightmare for all parties involved, except for the Patriots. Although Blount is still expected to sign elsewhere, Michael would be a part of a crowded depth chart that already includes James White, Rex Burkhead, Dion Lewis and Mike Gillislee, upon signing with New England. He would be a better fit with a club with less depth and would certainly see more playing time as well.
