Julius Thomas to bounce back in 2017?

by Anthony Cervino | Wed, May 31st 7:40pm EDT

Miami Dolphins beat writer Armando Salguero believes tight end Julius Thomas "is going to be a thing this year" if his health remains intact. (Armando Salguero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Salguero is adding that the Dolphins have a play set "just for [Thomas] him" in 2017, his first year with the club after being acquired via trade earlier in the offseason. The Dolphins have struggled at the tight end position in recent memory with Jordan Cameron their starter since 2015. However, Cameron is no longer with the club and the door is open for Thomas to be featured and bounce back after a disappointing two years in Jacksonville. Thomas compiled 24 touchdowns in Denver from 2013-2014 when Adam Gase, Miami's head coach, was an assistant there during the same timespan.
