Cam Newton still not throwing at minicamp

Although Newton is still not throwing at the start of Carolina's three-day mandatory minicamp Monday, Garafalo reports that the versatile signal caller did not suffer a setback and remains "on track" in his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery. Moreover, Newton has yet to be medically cleared to fully return to football activities which make me believe he'll be held back from throwing until July 22, exactly 12 weeks removed from his rotator cuff procedure. Still, Newton remains on track to be a full go at the start of training camp in late July.
