Sidney Jones IV

Sidney Jones is no longer wearing a walking boot

by Mike Maher | Bengals Correspondent | Tue, Jun 13th 10:14am EDT

Philadelphia second-round pick and cornerback Sidney Jones is no longer wearing a walking boot as he continues to rehab the torn Achilles he suffered during his University of Washington pro day. Washington operates on the quarter system, meaning Jones was not able to practice with the Eagles until the Spring quarter ended. (ProFootballTalk)

Fantasy Impact:

Jones almost certainly will not be ready for the beginning of the season, and there are some who think he may not play at all in 2017. The Eagles, for their part, say they are preparing Jones as if he will be ready to play this season. They could certainly use him, as their secondary is currently projected to be one of the weakest units on the team.
