ArDarius Stewart sitting out of minicamp

New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles told the media wide receiver ArDarius Stewart (thumb) will be sidelined for the team's mandatory minicamp this week. (Manish Mehta on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Stewart, who was already sidelined with a thumb injury for last week's OTAs, will miss this week's mandatory minicamp with a groin injury. With Quincy Enunwa already sitting out of minicamp with a neck injury and in the wake of Eric Decker's release, the Jets are down to the back end of the receiving corps for camp. However, although the team doesn't view Stewart or Enunwa's respective injuries as serious, they'll likely take the cautious approach with their recoveries moving forward. Currently, Stewart is slated to open the 2017 season as the Jets' WR3.
