Julio Jones sitting out of minicamp

by Anthony Cervino | Falcons Correspondent | Tue, Jun 13th 5:52pm EDT

Atlanta Falcons beat writer Vaughn McClure is reporting wide receiver Julio Jones (foot) will not participate in mandatory minicamp this week. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Although Jones is sitting out of this week's mandatory minicamp -- he is still recovering from offseason foot surgery -- the elite wideout told the media last week that he'll be ready for the start of training camp in late July. Jones' non-participation is not a setback and was realistically foreseen. He is fully expected to be on the field for the Falcons in Week 1.
