Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott told the press wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) will be limited at this week's mandatory minicamp. (Joe Buscaglia on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Although McDermott told the media that Watkins would be limited this week, the ailing wideout surprisingly took part in team drills Tuesday. This is outstanding news for Watkins' injury outlook moving forward, and barring a setback, he should be a full-go for July's training camp. From a fantasy football perspective, the Bills missing out on Jeremy Maclin is huge for Watkins' fantasy value in 2017. Not only will he maintain his role as the club's No. 1 receiver, but if he remains healthy, he could be in store for a breakout year, especially if Zay Jones lives up to his draft stock and demands the opposing defense's attention. View Watkins as a boom or bust, borderline WR1/ WR2 entering the upcoming fantasy football campaign who could produce WR1 numbers come season's end.
