Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard has been focusing on some physical changes this offseason to improve on his 2016 rookie year. He had surgery to improve his eyesight, which should improve his receiving skills. He is also placing a strong emphasis on endurance training in hopes of creating longer runs. (Chicago Tribune)

Fantasy Impact:

Howard is scheduled to be the workhorse for the Bears this season. As impressive as his rookie season was, it is promising to see that Howard has pinpointed where his game could improve. Last season in 15 games, he had a 58% catch rate on only 29 receptions. Even with the lack of receiving production, Howard still finished as a top 10 fantasy RB. Any increase in the pass game for Howard gives him a massive boost in PPR leagues.
