DeShone Kizer signs rookie deal

Fantasy Impact:
Cleveland's quarterback depth chart if full of question marks entering the final stretch of the offseason. Currently, Brock Osweiler, Cody Kessler, Kevin Hogan and Kizer appear to be in an open competition for the starting job for the 2017 season. However, I believe it is a two man race between Osweiler and Kessler. Since Kizer is an inexperienced rookie, it is an unlikely scenario that he'll be thrust into the starting job when he isn't ready, especially with a pair of veterans with starting experience ahead of him. But, I also wouldn't count out Kizer receiving playing time at some point this season once the Browns are eliminated from playoff contention. For fantasy football purposes, Kizer is worth rostering in Dynasty formats for future considerations.
